So Lazy....

I was planning to go swimming twice this week. mainly because I haven't been since the last time I posted about it. (I'm not sure how long that is, and I don't wanna check, coz I know its too long. Especially since i'm meant to be going every week...).

The plan was that I'd go swimming yesterday after school, and some time today.

I got back from school yesterday and decided that I was too tired and had no energy etc etc etc and that it would actually be DANGEROUS for me to swim in that condition in case I drowned. They do have lifeguards there, but Robyn doesn't work during the week, and I don't know if I'd trust anyone else to rescue me. But I can't go swimming when she IS working in case I just chat the whole time, or in case she makes me nervous and then I drown.

So yesterday I decided that I'd go swimming for twice as long today - which, at the time, was a realistic goal because I have no school today. So I got up nice and early this morning, only to find that the pool didn't open until 10:30. (Luckily I found this out before leaving the house...).

Then, by the time it was 10:30, I'd get a bit fed up, and decided that I'd go shopping instead, coz that makes you do a lot of exercise without even realising... (Seriously, it does! Have you ever tried calculating how far you've walked after a day of shopping?! MILES!!!).

But then I couldn't be bothered to wait for a bus, and I wasn't in the mood for walking the whole way to Kingston today... So I went to one of the local shops and got my mum a mug for mothers day. I was planning to get her something more exciting, but is iy MY fault there wasn't a bus waiting for me at the bus stop?! NO!

So now I'm back at home.

My brother has decided to write another book. (before you all get carried away, remember that my brother is 14 - not 40. It's not a BOOK book).
Apparently it's a Lord of the Rings/Narnia type story. So he's watching Lord of the Rings now, hoping for some sort of inspiration...
He's already drawn the map to show me. Its got a unicorn on it. Apparently there are Unicorns in the Bible. Somewhere in Isiah, according to a website he found yesterday.

Sophie brought a Beanie Baby Unicorn for Show&Tell at Rainbows. They can normally tell you the names (and whole life stories!) of the toys they bring in to show, so I said, "What's it called?!", and she gave me a look that I normally only get from my Chemistry teacher, and then said, "Its a unicorn. DUH!", then rolled her eyes at me and sat down.

Pah. Children these days.

Haha. Now I'm sounding like my chemistry teacher. You know, he has 10 grandchildren, and he can only name about 4 of them! And he doesn't know how old his children are either. I know he's getting old, but if he has a memory like that, should he really be let lose on all the chemicals in the prep room?! He quite often pours corrosive chemicals over himself, but he doesn't really get bothered about it. He just says, "Oops... oh well. That skin will grow back soon enough" or something weird like that. I honestly worry about him sometimes. So does Malikah. But Rita thinks that's sad...

You know, even though he has a bad memory, he still knows my name. He knows my surname as well. I think I'm the only person in the class with that privelege. Although recently he's been calling me "You Horrible Child" instead. Not very flattering. Not very professional either.
Yesterday, he asked who was missing (because he'd forgotten who normally sits next to me. Even though she's been there all year...), so I said, "It's Janice, she's not in". Then he stood there staring out the window of ages, turned around and said, "What does she look like again?! I've forgotten who she is".
See what I mean?! I'm worried about him.
How is he gonna write our reports?!
